Hand-stitched quilted petticoat made of a light brown cotton with an interior printed cotton of brown and cream leafy branches. Bottom hem of petticoat is bound in dark brown silk satin fabric. Waist is a light cream cotton plain-weave fabric. Cotton batting inner-lining. Hem has two cords encased in silk binding. Center front of petticoat is attached flat to waistband to accommodate a pointed bodice.
