Petticoat of heavy white cotton, hand stitched except for machine stitched waistband. Probably restyled to 1870’s. Straight panel is presently gathered in back, smooth across front. Row of folded tape rikrak insertion above hand embroidered scalloped hem edge with eyelets forming open wreaths. 2 rows of 1” tucks near hem.
