Lady's quilted petticoat of plum red wool fabric. Pre-quilted by machine possibly (?) Hand-knit cable hem trim in red wool. Hand-stiching of details and red cotton lining, but large seams are machined. Batting is wool on inside, and also machine-quilted. Cotton glazed yoke at waist with cotton tie cord.
