Ambrotype of adult man, seated, cases, size being 1/6th plate. He wears a plaid waistcoat and dark bowtie. Oval window in case, with faded orange velvet embossed with floral design. Outside case is embossed leather of thistles. Hinge still intact, although worn. Age-appropriate wear to leather outer case.
