Oval pin with copper frame. A wide band of black enamel surrounds an oval cabochon stone. It is likely white moonstone. The stone shows some pits and scratches. It also demonstrates a chatoyant effect; a shimmering band of light that moves across the stone. The stone is held on the back by a band of metal that is somewhat loose. There are conchoidal fractures along part of the edge (smooth, curved surface). Tube hinge, c clasp and thick pin stem extends beyond the clasp. 1 11/16"long 1 1/16" wide
