10K gold clip . Continuous piece of metal wide at the curled end with a hole cut in it. The other end narrows to a tiny hook which fastens into the hole. The top surface has engraved parallel lines, probably machine stamped, with a central oval where an initial could be engraved The narrow end has C-10K stamped on it. The C stands for Champenois & Co. of Newark, NJ which was established in 1876. 1" long 3/16" wide
