Hand-engraved 12K gold front. Back of pin shows plating which has worn off and shows base metal. Round hinge and c clasp. On original card. (in notebook) The card has the company's hallmark on it, a "W" in a diamond, for F.G. Whitney & Co., Attleboro, MA, in business from 1849 through 1900. Pins are 5/8" long and 1/8" wide.
