Reverse painted intaglio pin. Sterling pin with rectangular intaglio, probably glass. The carved flower and leaves are painted white and green. The background is also painted with the colors fading into each other. Collet set and placed in a decorative open work. Sterling silver background. Two faceted deep blue rhinestones are glued in on each side with tiny bits of metal pulled up to hold the stones in. On the back STERLING is stamped into the center plate. Round hinge and c clasp. 1 3/8" wide. 3/4" tall
