One wooden firkin, tapered toward the top, with vertical staves and three wooden bands. One band is at the top, and two are at the bottom. The base is a single piece of wood. The wooden bail handle is attached through holes in the side, and secured by pegs. One of these pegs is missing. It is painted a dark red.
