Two partial account books that seem to be an account of a well off woman's expenses. She lists expenses for a variety of clothing items such as dresses, bonnets, lace, slippers, collars, buttons and fabrics. She lists music lessons and the accompanying purchases of sheet music, music books, and even a piano. She lists painting lessons which then shows purchases of a frames, canvases, art books, and a variety of paints and brushes. There is a list titles "Books read during the year beginning Jan 1st 1858". She mentions buying goods in Rochester. Books date from 1848-1858.
