Sampler signed at the bottom by Hanna Cleever, Aged 11. Dated May 9, 1814. The sampler is decorated in yellow, gold, and brown thread. The top of the piece has the alphabet in lower case and capitals. The relgious quote "If you desire to worship God a right. First in the Morning Pray and last at Night. Crave For his Blessing on your Labours all. And in Distress for his Asistance call." There are gold plants and animals decorating the piece throughout.
