Get into the fall spirit! Don your witchy season finest and join us for a spooky Saturday at Genesee Country Village & Museum! See the Historic Village in all of its fall splendor, attend a frighteningly fascinating talk, snack on treats from D.B. Munger Confectionery, and more.
19TH-CENTURY HISTORIC VILLAGE

• Explore the history of spiritualism and get a fortune-telling reading of your own… if you dare.
• Take a closer look at the killer flora and fauna in the Drug Store (best observed at a distance).
• Join Ruth Ann Williams as she talks about the morbid process of 19th century corpse prep.
• Stop by Town Hall and shop vendors including Feral Craft Studio, Boss Street Books, and Morbid the Merrier
• Take a closer look at one of the maps hanging up in our land office and learn the story behind the Haudenosaunee folklore depicted upon it.
• Explore, see, and experience our Historic Village. We invite you to tour spaces and buildings representing home, civic, social, economic, farm, and religious life throughout the 1800s.
• Be sure to visit Nathaniel Rochester House (#12), open every day, to delve into the real and often untold history of enslavement and freedom in the Genesee Country.

AGRICULTURE & GARDENS

A variety of heritage animal breeds can be found throughout the Village at the Hetchler House & Early Settlement Farm (#6), the Livery Barn (#11), and Jones Farm (#14).

Make sure to explore historic gardens throughout the Village, flourishing with both food and flowers! Animals and plants are for viewing only – please don’t feed, trample, touch, or pick.
