Account Book of Peter Prine, Cabinet Maker

Peter Prine (1804-1882) was a cabinet maker residing in Wyoming County, New York. This account book lists his daily expenses for supplies and necessities as well as income brought in for furniture making, fixing buggies and sleighs, coffin making, and other woodworking and building jobs. Some of the book shows him as working with Cutler & Deforest, a cabinet making firm in Buffalo, New York. There are also recipes for paint and varnish as well as recipes for curing a variety of ailments of both people and animals. 1845-1871
