1/6th plate cased ambrotype. Appears to James A. Hyde during the Civil War, when he was either 2nd or 1st Lieutenant in the 120th Regiment of New York State. He is seen seated in his uniform with sword across lap. Image is in perfect condition, but case hinge has broken. Lid is present. Leather embossed outer with inner crimson embossed velvet.
