Object/Artifact

One reproduction ash splint basket made by staff member Marie Schultz. It is based on the collection piece 75.91.1. It is rectangular (with slightly bowed sides) and is made with natural and two bands of yellow splint. There is black, potato print stenciling in feather, sun and circle patterns on three sides that replicate the original. It is signed and dated on the bottom.
