Pair of women's boots of light green moiré ribbed silk (rep or faille), bound with greenish-brown silk ribbon, and with brown leather toe and heel caps. Toe caps run up to instep on either side of foot. Boots lace down inner side of ankle and foot through nine pairs of eyelets, plus single eyelet on front side of opening. Squared toe; flat, straight sole with incised and stained edges, Hand sewn. Soles marked with previous museum numbers: "71.1.57a" and "71.1.57b".
