Bottle, Serum
Object/Artifact
Product bottle for Mother Hubbard hair oil. The glass bottle is ribboned on the edge, curved form, chip on the rim. Color paper label still intact in the middle of the bottle. On top in blue frame "Mother Hubbard" an illustrated dog plays a flue, on the sides is yellow boarder. In the middle under neath the dog on a banner "Hair Oil" same yellow boarder is repeated on the bottom half of the label. At the bottom in blue frame, "Standard Perfumery Co." In the middle of the label reads, "She went to the Grocerer's / To buy him some fruit / When she came back / He was playing the flute!" On the back there is a relief of a woman who looks like a classic witch, with a pointed hat, and long pointed nose, she faces left. Below her in relief is a dog looking up at her but facing right.
