Medium-sized buttonhook with sterling silver handle and steel hook. Sterling handle features ornate rococo-revival design. Scrollwork cylindrical interior handle, flanked by larger scrolls with pearldrop ridge on either side, topped with large clamshell or palmette which is pierced. Hallmarked "STERLING" on flange area of hook shaft. Shaft is tarnished with small blackened areas.
