"Entirely hand stitched white cotton mull, with tamboured dots all over. Deep, short brim, small horseshoe shaped crown, joined with insertion of needle lace beading.* Brim has 3 narrow linen tape drawstrings in small parallel casings over head, 2 more around face and around the neck. Tape loops at corners for ribbon ties.*Seems as if it may have been worked directly into the fabric edges!"
