Object/Artifact

Entirely hand stitched fine, heavy linen. Scoop neckline formed by narrow yoke with ‘corners’, puffed sleeves with integral gusset. Cuff and yoke have border of machine stitched tiny featherstitching and raised lines, quilted effect. 3/8” hand hemmed frill on neckline and cuffs. Narrow reinforcing around armscye. One side seam cut at angles; other has gore with butted selvages. 1.5” hem. Exquisite work.
