Cloak

Clothing/Dress/Costume

Cloak of purple-brown wool twill, wadded/interlined, and lined with light brown polished cotton. Rounded turn-down collar, edged with brown silk fringe, set onto a wide yoke with self-fabric piped edging. Body is attached to yoke with knife pleats pointing toward center back, with yoke lining whipped down over pleats to cover raw edges. Fastens with hooks and eyes as usual in yoke, and with hooks that face out down front of body. Slits for arms cut into sides and finished with wool plackets. Hand sewn.
