Folded length of brown glazed cambric (dress lining fabric), about 25” wide, retaining. Penciled on that is a crossed-out Z= above a line above “6[cents]” and a squiggle 72 and 2 squiggle next to the printed “yds.” Pinned to the fabric is a paper note reading “31 1/2 yds” but there are only perhaps a few yards left.
