Entirely hand-stitched child’s dress made of fine cambric. Fairly simple with Ayrshire embroidery in usual places. Ankle-length. Short, wide sleeves with self frills; topped with an extra doubled jockey-like cap. V panel in front with plain robings which also appear on either side of simply embroidered center panel in full skirt. Embroidered waistband, scallops from hem. Drawstring in the neckline. No other fasteners.
