Morning dress of white cotton muslin, lined in the back and sides with white linen. Rounded turn-down collar. Bodice buttons down front with six domed thread buttons; apron-front skirt fastens to lowest button with a thread loop at center point. Back of skirt is gathered to bodice. A thick white cotton cord ending in a tassel is sewn to each side of the apron and runs across the back, held with cord loops; these tie at center front. Very long sleeves, gathered at shoulder, likely intended to be held with bracelets at wrist. Hand sewn.
