Object/Artifact
White cotton net embroidered with white cotton and linen of various weights. Bottom edge scalloped with attached picots. Each scallop has small flower with leaves. Flounce has 4 large sprays of flowers with leaves having various lacy centers and solid or airy fillings. Florets scattered over ground. Top edge finished with overcast thread for substance. One seam in side to form tube. May or may not have been originally one piece, perhaps a frill from a skirt bottom. Limerick? 11” deep by 31” circumference.
