Yoke-like shoulder dressing that extends in CB and CF in a point. This section consists of many small tuckets, punctuated by vertical rows of faggoted picoting. High round neckline with same treatment at neck opening as placket front - a band of white cotton trimmed in a flounce, with picot edge. Long curved sleeves, with cuff having same panel treatment as yoke, with finished band and flounce, with picot edge. Vertical tucks flank both sides of CF placket opening. Almost entirely machine-stitched, with some interior hand-finishing. Body of dressing gown has some period repairs, and minor stains from unideal storage from donor.
