Gown, Tea
Clothing/Dress/Costume
Lady's tea gown made of either bronze printed silk faille or twill fabric. Light blue scrolling sprigs decorate the silk. Center front cross-over closure, with bodice portion of gown supported with stays across seams. Black dotted-Swiss overlay on skirt. Bodice is embroidered with black beading (speculated to be jet). Beading extended into applique at elbow, neckline, and hanging from black dotted-Swiss netting. Sleeves and skirt have portions that are a dusty magenta colored silk taffeta. Small train in back. Sleeves are very loose and have a slight puff at cap.
