Object/Artifact

Black silk hood, machine quilted (at home?) through all layers, one-piece construction with seam and pleats; flared shape; lightly quilted curved cape which curves to front corner of brim. Lining is olive-brown glazed cotton; black silk taffeta fancy ribbon ties about 3” x 14”.
