Infant hood, entirely hand stitched white cotton matelasse; front faced with cotton corded dimity; unlined; flat shallow brim, crown loosely gathered all around, cape with curved front edges; plain weave linen ties. All around and at back of cape is an edging that looks like crochet lace but isn’t.
