Handkerchief, pina, shaped leaf border Handkerchief made of fine pina, with white buttonhole stitched border of oak leaves with curlicues. 18” square. Not sure of date - curlicues look 1900ish and the shaped leafy edge certainly qualifies - but I have an 1850s collar with a similar leafy edge so.... and the white-on-white looks earlier.

Excellent Not sure of date - curlicues look 1900ish and the shaped leafy edge certainly qualifies - but I have an 1850s collar with a similar leafy edge so.... and the white-on-white looks earlier.
