Plate, Cup
Object/Artifact
Pressed glass cup plate. The ship in the center of the plate has three masts with a flag, "BF" on the mainmast. The letter "F" is on the paddlebox. The name "Benjamin Franklin" and a chain of beads are inside the rope table rest. The stays supporting the masts are stippled. The border pattern is one of stars, anchors, diamonds, scrolls, and an eagle with wings outspread. The American shield is on his breast.
