Round-bottom beaded bag with band of stylized roses and pansies above a base of clover and speckles on a red ground. Maroon-twilled silk (foulard) top flaps. Lined with cotton, red satin ribbon drawstrings, and ball fringe with gold accents along the bottom. Might have been supplied with the red trimmings in the 1870s or 80s.
