Espadrilles
Clothing/Dress/Costume
Pair of women's espadrilles, also called alpargatas, made of blue and navy striped cotton with black cotton tape ties and coiled rope soles. Upper is sewn together with large, rough stitches at side seams. Tape tie runs over front at throat and then to the back, where the ends are left free for tying. Narrow squared toe; curve-lasted flat sole. Hand and machine sewn.
