Fruit Peeler

Object/Artifact

Wooden hand crank apple peeler. Three wooden gears between two wooden walls with five wooden rods connecting the walls. Each gear has a rod through the center. The largest gear is attached to the crank. The gear closest to the base has three curved metal spikes attached to its rod. The base is wooden and rectangular with a hole opposite the gears. A knotted string is looped through the hole. There is an inscription on top of the platform reading, "D.T MEAD."
