2 Ladies Under a Tree, One in Elaborate Mantle

Object/Artifact

One wears a figured green dress with frilled hem, covered almost entirely with a very full pale blue triangular mantle with embroidered hem and embroidered muslin frill along edges. Folded-over pelerine effect. Anchored in front with multiple-looped purple ribbon and streamers, same treatment use at side to pull the cloth up to allow the hand to appear. Bonnet wiht red plaid ribbons and plume. Other shows side view of a simple gray striped dress and pink bonnet.
