Bonnet

Object/Artifact

Light golden brown silk taffeta drawn bonnet. Tall crown with flange at top, wide brim at angle to crown. Disc of tarlatan inside top of crown. Ribs are fine but seem to be almost rubbery-perhabs fine splits of cane. Brim edge of strong wire. Self fabric forms certain or bavolet. Soft satin ribbon of similar hue attached at front base of crown, forming ties. May or may not be period.
