Hat box and bonnet, Quaker.The bonnet is covered with black silk rep and the brim lined with cream colored lustring. The crown is backed with buckram and the brim is covered pasteboard; hand sewn. Apparently original thin black silk ribbon bonnet ties. The crown is fitted with a box pleat on the top with two pleats on either side; gathered around base and trimmed with a small, flat bow of thin black silk ribbon
