Medium-sized buttonhook. Brass hook shaft has ball on non-hook end, with a d-ring passing through head of ball - most likely for hanging from a chatelaine. Punched brass relief of c-scrolls, rounds, and undulations is wrapped around the top end of the brass shaft, forming a handle. No visible markings. Dulled from tarnish and age.
