Wooden box covered in black faux-leather material, within inside lined with faded purple silk satin, and black velvet molded recesses for horn and hook. Both horn and hook are stamped with "steel" and are modelled with a rococo-revival style pattern. Cartouches in the center of each handle, but no engraving in cartouches.
