Hand stitched (once emerald) green sheer wool rep calash: fine silk? warp; slightly thicker wool weft. 13 canes, 6 'peaks'. Self frill around face. 8” cape at base. Back and cape lined with coarse tarlatan (?). Narrow green silk ribbon at top left; wider green silk ties at chin– 1 sewn; 1 pinned.
