Object/Artifact

Calash, light tan sheer wool blend 1800-1825 Hand stitched semi-sheer wool/silk blend [?], soft light tan. Cane hoops, “valleys” simply stitched to form creases. Self bow, self edged in center back, matching PW silk ribbon with coarsely pinked ends. Remains of a narrow matching ribbon on proper left, near forehead. No lining. Double kilted frill around front edge. Bavolet or cape.
