Cap

Object/Artifact

Entirely hand stitched peach silk, brocaded with paisley cones. Circle crown set with piping into deep brim with chin straps. No frills. Lined with matching plainwoven silk; thin batting, parallel lines of quilting. Kathleen Kannik makes a convincing case for this as adult size, worn over a white cap.
