Entirely hand-stitched small infant cap made of fine white cotton lawn; small circular crown outlined with a row of French stitches, caul high on the side of the head; 6 very fine casings toward the front with drawstrings on one side; two more casings next to the edge are tied in the center; drawstrings in center back; self frill around entire cap; with additional 2 rows behind on the front edge; frills edged with very narrow lace; narrow linen tape ties.
