Chemise
Clothing/Dress/Costume
Chemise of plain weave cotton. Chemise is very long with small tucks at waist are (vertical) to slightly shape chemise. No sleeves. Neckline and armscyes are finished with machined-buttonhole edging stitches, in a scalloped pattern. machine-embroidery at center front cartouche with filigree, surrounded by machined sprigs. Bottom hem is hand-sewn in place. Side seams are also sewn by hand.
