COLLAR, COTTON WITH LACE EDGING 1845-1855 Round collar with pointed ends. Very fine linen, entirely hand stitched. 5” deep with 1/2” binding on neck edge. 1/8” hem with edging of 1/2” Swedish [?] lace (braided linen forming diamond shapes) and outer edges of machine [?] Valenciennes type-lace.
