Object/Artifact
Finely carved heavy tortoiseshell, hand carved teeth. Simple curved shape. Bridge has dense filigree of peonies and stems. Floral border centered with a bat with elegantly flourished wings. 6” high at center; 6” across. Early repair to break in form of a metal patch neatly pinned to the base of the bridge, and two wires above.
