Cravat
Object/Artifact
1. Entirely hand stitched cravat made of soft white silk satin. Neck is a covered metal band that fits around the neck, one end overlaps the other in back, where its end is concealed by a fold of cloth. The knots are formed of self-striped silk softly folded over cotton batting, from which two long, flat folded ‘ends’ hand. 2. Cylindrical cardboard box covered with buff paper atop blue paper over the seams.
