Manufactured Doll

Entirely hand-stitched doll dress made of blue, light blue, and tan block printed (or block press) cotton (microscope ID), a vague twisted cable pattern. Fabric seems heavily sized; it is thin and coarse. Narrow set-in waistband, gathered bodice with wide, shallow neckline bound and piped. Full skirt with no tucks, hem turned up about 1 1/2" and whipped. Long full raglan sleeves with a narrow tuck around the midpoint; piped armscye. Tiny piped cuffs. Hook at cuff, back waist, and back neck. Eye at neck opening; bar tacks elsewhere.
