Morning dress of fine checked cotton (pink, white, and green stripes crossed with white and blue), lined in the bodice with white cotton. Wide, shallow neckline, gathered in back, and bound in checked cotton. Center back closure, fastening down lining with four mother of pearl buttons (replaced) and outwardly with a mother of pearl button at back of neck and two hooks and eyes in inset waistband. Bodice is cut on the bias in front and gathered at front and back waist. Full elbow-length sleeves are tightly gathered to armscye. Skirt is tightly gathered across back and has two tucks above hem. Hand sewn.
