Clothing/Dress/Costume

Entirely hand-stitched dress made of cotton printed with a punched cylinder print, and tiny brown stars. High-waisted with a set-in waistband. Skirt evenly gathered all around. Bodice gathered in the center front and the center back at the waist and yoke. Yoke and shoulder ‘straps’ formed of narrow straight pieces covered by wide bertha collars straight across the front; pointed deeper in the back and pointed over the tops of arms. Edged with piped self-frills. Piped armscyes with short straight sleeves having 2 tiers of 1.5” self-frills.
